Serving Hands Senior Care is a locally owned, family-operated home care agency proudly serving Edmonton, St. Albert, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Parkland County, and surrounding communities since 2016. Our mission is to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes through compassionate, respectful, and personalized care.
We are currently hiring full-time Health Care Aides (HCAs) to support seniors living independently throughout our communities. Some evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required to help provide the continuity of care our clients depend on.
Position Highlights

Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Support mobility and safe transfers
- Provide medication reminders within HCA scope and individual care plans
- Prepare meals and assist with nutrition
- Complete light housekeeping to support a safe and comfortable home
- Monitor and document changes in client condition or behaviour
- Communicate observations and concerns promptly to the office and nursing team
- Deliver compassionate, respectful, person-centred care
- Remain awake, alert, and responsive during overnight shifts, when scheduled
Requirements
- Registered Health Care Aide (HCA) in good standing on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory
- Current BLS/CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
- Strong English communication skills
- Physically able to assist with mobility and transfers
- Reliable, organized, and compassionate

Preferred Experience
- Experience providing personal care to seniors or adults with disabilities
- Home care, continuing care, supportive living, or long-term care experience is considered an asset
