Automotive Retention Specialist / Manager's AssistantPosition Summary
We are seeking an energetic, organized, and customer-focused Automotive Retention Specialist / Manager's Assistant to join our growing dealership team. This role is responsible for building lasting customer relationships, increasing customer retention, supporting the management team, and ensuring an exceptional ownership experience from purchase through service.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, enjoys interacting with customers, and thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Retention
- Contact customers following vehicle purchases and service visits to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Schedule future service appointments and maintenance reminders.
- Reach out to inactive customers to encourage them to return to the dealership.
- Assist with customer loyalty programs and retention campaigns.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and text.
- Resolve customer concerns or escalate them to management when necessary.
- Monitor customer satisfaction scores and online reviews.
Sales & Service Support
- Coordinate customer appointments for the sales and service departments.
- Follow up on internet leads and missed opportunities.
- Assist in organizing customer appreciation events and promotional campaigns.
- Help maintain the dealership CRM by updating customer records and notes.
Manager's Assistant Duties
- Provide administrative support to dealership management.
- Prepare reports and track departmental KPIs.
- Organize meetings and maintain calendars.
- Assist with employee communications and special projects.
- Coordinate paperwork and ensure files are accurate and complete.
- Support daily dealership operations as required.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive dealership experience is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Experience using dealership CRM systems is preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Professional, positive attitude with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
