Are you looking for a rewarding seasonal position in beautiful Tobermory? The Blue Bay Motel is seeking a friendly, energetic, and dependable Full-Time Housekeeping / Front Desk Clerk to join our team for the remainder of the 2026 season.
What We Offer

- Guaranteed 35–40 hours per week
- $1,000 Signing Bonus paid at the end of a successfully completed season (October 31, 2026)

About the Position
This is a dynamic role that combines front desk duties with housekeeping responsibilities. No two days are exactly the same, making it perfect for someone who enjoys staying busy and helping guests have an exceptional experience.
Responsibilities
- Greeting guests and providing outstanding customer service
- Checking guests in and out
- Answering phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries
- Making reservations and processing payments
- Cleaning guest rooms and common areas to high standards
- Restocking supplies and reporting maintenance concerns
- Working collaboratively with the rest of the team to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications
- Previous hospitality, housekeeping, customer service, or front desk experience is an asset but not required
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to perform physical housekeeping duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Housing Available
Affordable staff housing is available for employees who require accommodation. Housing is provided at a cost of $100 per week and is conveniently located for easy access to work.
Season Dates
Immediate start available through October 31, 2026.
Bonus Details
Employees who successfully complete the season through October 31, 2026, while maintaining satisfactory attendance and performance, will receive a $1,000 signing bonus at the conclusion of the season.
