What You'll Do
- Lead and assist installation crews on residential and commercial plumbing retrofit projects
- Install toilets, faucets, showerheads, bidets, sinks, vanities and related plumbing fixtures
- Perform plumbing fixture inspections, water fixture audits and site assessments
- Identify deficiencies and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements
- Ensure installations meet Water Matrix quality standards
- Provide guidance, coaching and on-site support to junior installers
- Troubleshoot installation issues and resolve problems efficiently
- Communicate professionally with residents, property managers and customers
- Represent Water Matrix with professionalism inside occupied apartments and homes
- Maintain accurate inspection reports and installation documentation
- Assist with inventory management and material organization
- Ensure company vehicles, tools and equipment remain organized and maintained
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Travel
This position includes regular travel throughout Ontario and across Canada.
Travel expenses including airfare, hotels, vehicle rentals and daily expenses are paid by the company.
Typical travel rotations range from 3 days to 2 weeks, depending on project size. Some months involve very little travel, while others may require extended project assignments.
What We're Looking For
Required
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on plumbing fixture installation experience
- Extensive experience installing:
- Toilets
- Bathroom faucets
- Kitchen faucets
- Showerheads
- Bidets
- Bathroom sinks and vanities
- Strong troubleshooting abilities
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent verbal communication
- Comfortable working inside occupied apartments, condominiums and private residences
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence
- Clean driving record
- Clean criminal background check
- Ability to lift 60 lbs
- Comfortable travelling throughout Canada
Ideal Experience
Experience with any of the following is considered a strong asset:
- Multi-residential plumbing retrofits
- High-volume fixture replacement programs
- Water conservation retrofit projects
- Property management or condominium projects
- Commercial plumbing installations
- Crew leadership or supervisory experience
- Inspection and audit reporting
- Reading construction drawings and specifications
