Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Educator to join our team. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs, and fostering a love for learning. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children of diverse backgrounds, including those with special needs. Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety at all times
- Support children with disabilities or special needs through tailored caregiving strategies and inclusive practices
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns
- Assist in the development of individualized care plans when necessary
- Foster positive relationships with children to encourage confidence and independence
- Follow all licensing regulations and company policies related to health, safety, and child welfare
- MUST HAVE VALID POLICE BACKGROUND AND FIRST AID CERTIFICATES
- MUST BE BILINGUAL
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with young children is preferred
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Background in early childhood education or related caregiving fields is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to provide nurturing care and support to children of diverse backgrounds
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and families

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
