Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate manual till efficiently for cash handling, sales transactions, and receipts
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing shelves, displays, and stock to attract customer attention
- Assist with stocking shelves, inventory management, and replenishing products to ensure store readiness
- Use strong phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely, maintaining professionalism at all times
- Supervise or assist in supervising team members during shifts to ensure smooth daily operations
- Engage in retail math tasks such as pricing goods, calculating discounts, totals, and change accurately for cash transactions
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
- Familiarity with manual tills and cash handling procedures is an asset
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse customers effectively
- Basic math skills necessary for retail math calculations and transaction accuracy
- Experience working in a retail store environment is advantageous but not mandatory
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for creating positive interactions
