Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server and Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, efficiently handle food and beverage orders, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role requires a strong understanding of food and beverage service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the food industry, hospitality, or restaurant setting is preferred,. The Server and Bartender will play a vital role in ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Duties
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, providing attentive customer service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages responsibly as a bartender, following all legal and safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, bar, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen duties as needed to support overall restaurant operations
- Manage guest inquiries or complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
Experience
- Previous food service experience is highly preferred, especially in restaurant or hospitality settings
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and upselling techniques
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding related laws is desirable
- Kitchen or food industry experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory
