Agricultural Support Driver (Helicopter Aerial Application)
We are seeking a reliable Agricultural Support Driver to manage ground operations for our helicopter aerial application business. You will keep our flight operations running smoothly by transporting water, fuel, and supplies, loading products, and retrieving parts as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport & Logistics: Safely transport water, fuel, and agricultural chemical products to job sites.
- Product Handling: Safely load, unload, and handle agricultural chemicals using a forklift and other equipment.
- Parts & Supplies: Retrieve tools, replacement parts, and supplies to keep equipment running without delay.
- Equipment Care: Perform daily vehicle checks and light maintenance on ground equipment.
- Crew Support: Assist the helicopter pilot and ground crew during field operations.
Schedule & Demands
- Long Hours & On-Call: Must be flexible to work extended seasonal days and respond to on-call schedules based on weather and crop readiness.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating a forklift (or willingness to train).
- Basic mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot equipment and source parts.
- Strong safety mindset and communication skills.
- Local Candidates: Preference will be given to local applicants familiar with the area.
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
