We are looking for a junior service technician to join our field team in Quebec City.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career, particularly a recent graduate with a vocational diploma (DEP) in electromechanics or industrial mechanics, who wants to develop their skills and gain practical experience in industrial equipment maintenance within a dynamic and educational environment.
Responsibilities
Assist senior technicians during the installation of new air compressor systems at customer sites
Perform basic maintenance tasks on compressors (filter changes, oil checks, lubrication, etc.)
Provide preventative maintenance services on customer equipment
Assist in repairing or replacing defective components (valves, pumps, motors, controls, etc.)
Participate in the analysis of the causes of unplanned downtime and perform the appropriate repairs
Provide excellent customer service and contribute to customer loyalty
Collaborate effectively with the administrative team to ensure efficient information sharing
Learn and adhere to safety standards and industry best practices
Optimize work schedules and the profitability of interventions
Desired Profile
You will succeed in this position if:
You hold a DEP (Diploma of Vocational Studies) in electromechanics, industrial mechanics, or a related field, or have relevant prior experience (profile (Junior candidates welcome)
You have basic knowledge of mechanics and industrial electricity.
You are able to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and plans.
You have a basic understanding of pneumatic systems.
You are independent yet enjoy working in a team.
You have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
You have a strong desire to learn and grow.
You hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
