CEFA Okotoks - D'Arcy Crossing is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and team-oriented Educational Coordinator to help keep our centre running smoothly. This dynamic role combines administrative responsibilities with hands-on classroom support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about Early Childhood Education. Working closely with our leadership team and educators, you will play an essential role in supporting staff, enhancing the learning environment, and ensuring the daily operations of the centre are efficient and well-organized.
Duties
- Coordinate daily staff and student classroom transitions to maintain required staff-to-student ratios.
- Schedule daily staff breaks and planning time to ensure smooth classroom operations.
- Manage the administrative onboarding process for new students.
- Manage the administrative onboarding process for new staff members.
- Monitor, replenish, and organize first aid supplies for all classrooms.
- Receive, inspect, and store deliveries, and organize and file purchase receipts.
- Support educators with the preparation of classroom materials and educational resources.
- Create, update, and maintain hallway and classroom educational displays.
- Provide classroom support across all age groups as operational needs require.
- Maintain accurate student and staff records.
- Assist with licensing and health & safety documentation.
- Coordinate supply inventory and place orders as needed.
- Support special events, field trips, and centre-wide activities.
- Help ensure classrooms and common areas meet CEFA presentation standards.

Qualifications
- Level 3 Early Childhood Education Certificate (requirement)
- Current First-Aid & CPR Certificate (requirement)
- Willing to obtain clear Police Check with Vulnerable Sector Check (requirement)
- Previous Administrative Work Experience (requirement)
Compensation
- Starting pay is $20.39/hour + the Alberta Wage Top-Up
- Annual 2 week paid vacation
