YWCA Toronto has partnered up with our employer partner for this exciting opportunity– and you don’t want to miss it!
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to research, connect with, and build lasting relationships with organizations - such as municipalities and public sector bodies that could benefit from our courses. This is not a traditional marketing role - it's about understanding each organization deeply, identifying where the company can genuinely help, and becoming a trusted point of contact from first conversation through long-term partnership. It's an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate who is curious, analytical, and eager to own client relationships end-to-end.
This role requires expert experience with ChatGPT, Claude and other various AI tools and agent capabilities.
You'll be comfortable digging into publicly available information to understand a prospective client, thoughtful in how you reach out, and genuinely invested in keeping clients happy and supported once they come on board.
JOB DUTIES:
- Research prospective organizational clients (municipalities, public sector bodies, and large enterprises), using publicly available information to understand their structure, priorities, and professional development needs
- Identify each client's likely pain points and opportunities based on your research, and map them to relevant our courses and offerings
- Reach out to prospective clients by phone and email to introduce our company, understand their needs, and present a tailored offer
- Build and maintain a clear, organized pipeline of prospects and active conversations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from first outreach through onboarding and beyond
- Maintain and grow relationships with signed clients, checking in regularly, addressing needs, and ensuring they get ongoing value from our company
- Use AI tools to accelerate research, draft outreach, and organize client insights
- Track outreach activity, conversations, and outcomes, and share findings and recommendations with the team
- Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to align client conversations with company's messaging and offerings
What You'll Bring
- A recent degree (or equivalent), with a minimum of up to 1 year of experience in a client-facing, research, or similar role
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to organize and act on information accurately
- Strong command of AI tools and a knack for applying them to research, outreach, and everyday productivity - including building simple AI agents
- Strong analytical skills - comfortable gathering information and turning it into useful insights
- Proficiency in English, with clear and professional written and verbal communication
- Comfort making outbound calls and building rapport with new contacts
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude and genuine interest in building long-term relationships
- Background or interest in eLearning, online education, or the public sector is an asset
