Horizon Maritime Northern Services Ltd. is looking to hire a Journeyperson-certified Machinist for support of the Marine Transport Services Shipyard, located in Hay River, Northwest Territories. This position is full-time, with all work done on-site.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Journeyman Certificate valid in the Northwest Territories, or Red Seal (allowing work anywhere in Canada)
- Vendor Certificates an asset, but not requirement
- Experience an asset
- Additional medical certifications (such as First Aid, CPR, etc.)
COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
- Hourly wage starting at $51.46
- Health, Dental, short-term disability, accidental death and dismemberment, and life insurance upon hire- Northern Living allowance of $404 payable biweekly- Camp accommodations offered for out-of-town residents with Per Diem of $70 daily
