Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Create a welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence
- Observe and assess individual student progress, tailoring activities to meet diverse needs
- Support children with disabilities by adapting lessons and providing personalized care and assistance
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to build a collaborative community
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and classroom activities
- Ensure health, safety, and well-being of all children through vigilant supervision and caregiving practices
Requirements
- Prior classroom experience working with young children in early childhood settings
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and developmentally appropriate practices
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate caregiving and emotional support to children
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, and team members
- Relevant certifications or training in early childhood education
- Passion for nurturing young minds and fostering inclusive learning environments
