Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Kitchen Hand / Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment to support our chefs and food service operations. Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including peeling, chopping, and assembling ingredients
- Support the kitchen team by maintaining a clean work environment throughout shifts
- Ensure proper handling and storage of food items in accordance with safety regulations
- Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to keep the kitchen tidy
- Assist with setting up dining areas and clearing tables during service periods when required
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure food safety compliance
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks such as lifting heavy loads when necessary
- Flexibility to work during busy meal times, including weekends or evenings if required
