Phi Skin Clinic is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Medical Aesthetician / Laser Technician to join our growing clinic.
This is a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into more consistent or full-time hours as the clinic and patient schedule develop. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, dependable, confident with patient consultations, and comfortable working in a growing clinic environment.
Position details

- Expected hours: Approximately 20–35 hours per week, based on patient demand, clinic needs, and availability
- Compensation: $29–$35 per hour, depending on experience, advanced-device proficiency, consultation ability, and overall fit
- Availability may include weekdays, evenings, and weekends based on patient bookings
Required experience
Applicants must have hands-on experience operating at least one of the following:
Candidates without direct experience using either Fotona or Sylfirm X will not be considered at this time.
Experience with additional medical-aesthetic technologies is considered a strong asset, including:
- Laser hair removal
- Bela MD
- MiraDry
- Emsculpt Neo
- Emsella
- Radiofrequency and microneedling devices
- Facial and skin-rejuvenation treatments
- Visia
Responsibilities
- Safely and confidently perform medical-aesthetic and laser treatments within your training and scope
- Conduct thorough patient consultations and assessments
- Develop appropriate treatment recommendations based on patient concerns, goals, and suitability
- Clearly explain treatments, expected outcomes, preparation, aftercare, risks, and pricing
- Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, photographs, and consent documentation
- Follow clinic safety standards, treatment protocols, infection-control procedures, and manufacturer guidelines
- Support rebooking, treatment-plan follow-up, package recommendations, and appropriate retail recommendations
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment before appointments
- Clean, disinfect, restock, and reset treatment areas after each patient
- Monitor inventory and communicate supply or equipment needs
- Assist with patient follow-up and respond appropriately to treatment concerns
- Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, role-playing, and professional development
- Work collaboratively with the physician, front-desk team, and clinic leadership
- Contribute ideas that improve patient experience, clinic workflow, and treatment delivery
- Support clinic events, promotions, content creation, and growth initiatives when required
Qualifications
- Previous professional experience in a medical-aesthetic, dermatology, plastic-surgery, laser, or advanced skincare setting
- Direct hands-on experience with Fotona or Sylfirm X
- Relevant certification or education in medical aesthetics, laser technology, skincare, nursing, or a related field
- Strong understanding of skin conditions, contraindications, treatment safety, and aftercare
- Confident and professional communication skills
- Comfortable conducting consultations and recommending suitable treatment plans
- Strong attention to detail and documentation
- Reliable, organized, punctual, and able to work independently
- Patient-centred, warm, polished, and professional
- Comfortable learning new systems, protocols, and technologies
- Willingness to contribute to a growing clinic and support areas outside treatment delivery when needed
