Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and flexible Personal Attendant Buddy (PAB) to provide essential support and care to individuals in need. This role is ideal for compassionate individuals who are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and persons with disabilities. The PAB will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being in various settings, including home care, assisted living, and nursing homes.
Duties
- Provide medication administration as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support meal preparation and ensure clients receive nutritious meals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction.
- Assist individuals with mobility challenges, ensuring their safety during movement.
- Provide specialized care for clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Document daily activities and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
Skills
- Experience in home care or assisted living environments is preferred.
- Strong understanding of caregiving principles, particularly in senior care settings.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and special needs.
- Compassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with clients.
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules.

Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
