Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across new construction residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing infrastructure functions efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances in new constructions or existing structures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct inspections to identify issues with plumbing systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling construction materials and heavy equipment.
- Document work performed and communicate progress or issues to project managers effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance within commercial or residential settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with construction experience.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Familiarity with carpentry, HVAC systems, welding, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations.
- Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial driving preferred.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, working at heights, and standing for extended periods.
