PRO SHOP ATTENDANT
The Pro Shop Attendant is responsible for delivering excellent customer service to golfers while supporting daily pro shop operations. This role serves as the first point of contact for guests and plays a key part in creating a welcoming and efficient golf experience.
We require candidates who are available to work from mid August to early November 4 to 5 shifts per week including weekends and holidays.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Greet golfers and guests in a friendly, professional manner
- Process tee times, green fees, memberships, and retail sales using POS systems
- Answer phones, manage bookings, and respond to customer inquiries
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked pro shop
- Handle cash, debit, and credit transactions accurately
- Enforce course policies and promote pace of play
- Assist with basic food prep and cleanup before and after service
- Assist with tournaments, leagues, and special events as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure seamless operations
- Follow all food safety and handling standards
Qualifications:
- Only applicants who can work through to November will be considered
- Superior customer service and strong communication skills; Ability to focus attention on guest needs in a fast-paced environment while always remaining calm and courteous;
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be reliable and flexible; able to work a variety of shifts (early morning, afternoon, evenings) including weekends, and holidays
- Smart Serve and Food Handling certification is required
- A drivers license or ability to commute where no public transit is available is required
Schedule:
- Part-time seasonal from mid August - mid November
- 7 days a week
- Weekends and holidays
