Labourer (Millwright Apprentice Opportunity)
K-Indu Ltd. is looking for a motivated, dependable Labourer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a long-term career in the trades.
Successful candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn may be offered the opportunity to begin a Millwright Apprenticeship after successfully completing their probationary period.
Responsibilities
- Assist millwrights and welders with installation, maintenance, and repair projects.
- Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Operate basic hand and power tools.
- Perform general shop and job site labour as required.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn.
- Physically able to perform manual labour and lift up to 50 lbs.
- A valid Class 5 driver’s licence is required.
- A valid Class 3 driver’s licence or higher is considered an asset.
- A clean driver’s abstract is required.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Previous construction, industrial, mechanical, or agricultural experience is an asset but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
