The Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront is looking for our next great colleague to take on the role of House Person with our Housekeeping Department. Are you organized, a go getter, guest focused, and a perfectionist? Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront is the place you want to work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning all public areas, including moping, dusting, sweeping, and polishing.
- Immediately identifying and reporting maintenance issues in public areas & guest rooms to ensure prompt attention.
- Responding promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
- Delivering requested items to guestrooms and setting up furniture items in guestrooms whenever required.
- Delivering supplies (i.e. linen sheets, bottled water, room amenities, etc.) to guestroom floors.
- Working diligently to resolve issues when they arise.
- May be requested to assist in cleaning of guestrooms, as needed.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Fluent English language skills; both written and verbal.
- A team player with proven success in relationship building.
- Ability to make beds, dust, clean bathrooms and vacuum within set timeframes.
- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 11.5 kilograms (25 pounds) without assistance.
- Capable of frequent bending, standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Previous experience in a similar capacity within an upscale establishment considered an asset.
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to meet the business needs of a 24/7 hotel environment, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must already possess necessary documentation to work legally in Canada.

Pay: $26.03-$34.70 per hour
