Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our construction team. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including building, renovation, and repair tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, the ability to operate various hand tools, and a willingness to learn new skills. This position is essential for supporting skilled trades and ensuring project efficiency and quality.
Duties
- Assist the fabricator's with fabricating and installation and restoration projects by performing manual labor tasks
- Operate hand tools such as hammers, drills, saws, and caulking guns safely and effectively
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to assist with project execution
- Assist in fabricating and installing Marble, Granite, Quartz, Porcelain and Natural Stone.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite to promote efficiency and safety
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools used in construction and restoration projects
- Basic understanding of construction processes
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics for accurate project support
- Knowledge of caulking techniques and materials for sealing applications
- Strong physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and working in various environmental conditions
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety and quality standards
- Willingness to learn new skills related to construction, restoration, and other trades
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
