Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every garment meets our high standards of quality. As a Tailor, you will be responsible for altering, repairing, and creating garments to fit our clients' specific needs. This role requires both technical sewing skills and excellent customer service abilities to provide an exceptional experience for our clientele.
Duties
- Jackets experience: shortening sleeves from the shoulders
- Perform alterations on various types of garments including dresses, suits, and casual wear to ensure the perfect fit.
- Create custom garments based on client specifications and measurements.
- Maintain an organized workspace and manage inventory of fabrics and supplies.
- Use sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to achieve high-quality finishes.
- Keep accurate records of alterations and repairs completed.
Skills
- Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to garment fitting.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure precision in all alterations and repairs.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with various sewing techniques and familiarity with different types of fabrics is preferred.
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Languages
- English is needed for this job.
- We also prefer Russian speakers.
