Join our dental team as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist, where you will be the friendly face and efficient organizer that keeps our practice running smoothly. Responsibilities
- Set-up operatory rooms and prepare for patients;
- Preparing and taking digital panorex and intro-oral radiographs
- Chair-side assisting in dental procedures
- Cleaning, sterilizing and reprocessing dental instrument and following proper hygienic protocol
- Teaching and advising patients on proper oral hygiene
- Answering the phone to book patients and texting and calling patients to confirming patients..
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or Dental Receptionist in a Canadian dental office environment
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, electronic medical records (EMR), and practice management software like Dentrix and Epic
- Excellent communication skills for front desk operations and patient interactions
- Demonstrated ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Prior experience with medical office procedures or administrative roles in healthcare settings is highly desirable
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Pay: $20.00-$32.00 per hour

Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
