Our Ponoka, AB location is currently expanding our facility and has a great opportunity for an experienced individual to join our organization as a Field Service Technician. This position will be responsible for providing troubleshooting and repairs primarily on the road, but also in our service shop as needed.
What does the role look like?
- As an experienced technician, you are comfortable working independently.
- The role involves diagnosing & troubleshooting equipment and performing any necessary tests to determine required repairs.
- Recommend repairs as necessary to Service Manager or customer.
- Complete repairs and maintenance of equipment as necessary.
- Prepare accurate write-ups of work performed in a timely manner.
- Able to communicate with factory technical support teams as necessary.
- Share information across the organization.
- The work will be primarily on the road, but some in-shop work may be required at times
- Ensuring that we deliver exceptional service to our customers.
What are we looking for?
- Journeyman: Agricultural Equipment or Heavy Duty.
- Ability to work independently, while troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing agricultural equipment
- Familiarity with Agricultural equipment such as tractors, balers, skid steers, etc.
- Strong electrical and hydraulic diagnostic skills
- At least 3 years of experience as a technician.
- Positive attitude, team player
