What We're Looking For:
Key Qualifications & Expectations
- Minimum 5 years of dental reception experience in a busy general practice.
- Thorough knowledge of the BC General Practitioner Fee Guide.
- Strong understanding of dental insurance, including assignment and non-assignment claims, pre-authorizations, predeterminations, coordination of benefits, and patient financial arrangements.
- Confident preparing accurate treatment estimates and explaining insurance coverage to patients.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks throughout the day.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in scheduling, documentation, insurance processing, and financial transactions.
- Strong communication skills with patients, doctors, hygienists, assistants, specialists, and laboratories.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the rest of the team.
- Positive, professional, and patient-focused attitude

We are looking for someone who understands the importance of showing up prepared, ready to contribute, and who can be relied upon by both their teammates and our patients.
At Smile Back Dental, our expectation is simple: every patient should arrive to a clinic that is fully prepared for their visit. Success in this role means the front office operates efficiently, the clinical team has everything they need before the day begins, and patients receive an organized, seamless, and exceptional experience from start to finish.
*NOTE we start very early! But finish early as well. Start time is 6.45am daily. Mondays and Fridays we close at 3pm and Tuesday To Thursday we close at 4pm. One hour lunch is guaranteed for you every day 12-1.
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
