What You'll Do
- Design solution architectures that align business objectives, customer needs, and technical capabilities, addressing security, performance, integration, and operational considerations.
- Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, technology leaders, and engineering teams to understand requirements, evaluate options, and provide architectural guidance throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Translate business strategies into technology roadmaps by identifying opportunities, recommending solutions, and supporting decisions that enable long-term growth and innovation.
- Define and oversee integration and systems architectures, ensuring applications, platforms, and services work together effectively across complex technology environments.
- Collaborate with security, compliance, and risk teams to ensure solutions meet required standards and incorporate appropriate security practices.
- Provide architectural leadership throughout project delivery, supporting teams with design decisions, governance, and alignment to established technology standards.
- Evaluate existing solutions and identify opportunities for continuous improvement, optimization, and modernization of systems and processes.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, bringing forward recommendations that improve capabilities and support business outcomes.
Who You Are
- Strategic in your approach, with the ability to translate complex business needs into scalable, secure, and practical technology solutions.
- Collaborative by nature, building strong partnerships across business, product, engineering, and technology teams to influence decisions and drive alignment.
- Experienced in modern technology environments, with a strong understanding of cloud platforms, distributed systems, application architecture, data solutions, integration patterns, and security principles.
- Analytical and solutions-focused, able to evaluate options, navigate technical trade-offs, and guide teams toward effective architectural decisions.
What You'll Bring
- Experience architecting enterprise or product-based solutions across domains such as identity and access management, e-commerce, transaction processing, data platforms, analytics, and customer-facing digital experiences.
- Experience leading solution architecture activities across multiple teams, products, and technology domains.
- Strong understanding of modern web architectures, APIs, microservices, distributed systems, systems integration, and cloud-native design.
- Experience with AWS or equivalent cloud platforms.
- Solid understanding of non-functional requirements, including scalability, performance, reliability, security, privacy, compliance, observability, and supportability.
- Ability to assess third-party platforms, integration options, architecture patterns, and technology trade-offs
- Experience in the lottery and gaming industry is certainly an asset.
- Ability to create architecture artifacts such as conceptual models, C4-style diagrams, integration views, decision records, roadmaps, and functional/non-functional specifications.
