Job Description
SignalChem Biotech Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Logistics Specialitst to join our growing team and gain invaluable experience in an innovative, fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity to support key business operations and contribute to the company’s continued success.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the re-stocking of products to ensure inventory is sufficient to fill orders and requests from the sales department.
- Plan, coordinate, execute, and track shipment of products according to customer requirements and product specifications.
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and shipping-related issues.
- Provide timely service with minimal supervision and work effectively during high-volume periods.
- Appropriately handle products depending on their handling and storage requirements to ensure product quality is not compromised.
- Aliquot temperature-sensitive products and prepare them for shipment with a high level of accuracy, meeting deadlines while maintaining product integrity.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing, quality control, and sales teams to resolve product issues.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in biological science or another related field with at least one (1) year of wet lab experience is an asset.
- 2-3 yrs of relevant experience preferred
- Proficiency in pipetting and basic laboratory techniques.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organization and time management skills showing close attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Able to lift 20 kg package and willing to handle -80C test tubes for long periods.
