Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, common areas, and other designated spaces according to established standards
- Handle trash disposal and replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning products
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently to achieve optimal results
- Follow specific client instructions and safety protocols to ensure consistent quality service
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing extra attention or maintenance issues
- Report any damages or maintenance concerns promptly to management
Skills
- Proven custodial experience with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety practices
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners effectively
- Experience with commercial cleaning environments preferred but not required
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and report issues accurately
