Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as concrete finishing, framing, siding installation, and restoration work
- Perform concrete forming, pouring, and finishing to create solid foundations and structures
- Execute carpentry duties including framing, woodworking, and installing siding with precision
- Use hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
- Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure smooth workflow on-site
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with welding equipment or operating heavy machinery
- Support restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged structures or surfaces
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or related trades with a strong understanding of building processes
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions accurately
- Skilled in concrete forming, finishing, and woodworking techniques
- Familiarity with siding installation and restoration procedures
- Proficient in operating power tools and hand tools safely
- Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks consistently
- Knowledge of welding techniques and heavy equipment operation is a plus
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills
