We are seeking a full-time permanent Wealth Associate to join our Wealth Management team. This position supports the Wealth Management team and members by performing a variety of member service, administrative, and analytical functions. The Wealth Associate is entrusted with various day-to-day administrative support activities, working directly with members, and collaborating with partners and credit union colleagues to deliver best in class service to our members.

What are some key responsibilities?
- Delivers administrative support for the Wealth Management team, including preparation of member communication packages, seminar coordination, and maintenance of filing systems.
- Responds to member inquiries, provides investment information and executes routine member transactions such as opening investment accounts, renewing term deposits, processing mutual fund trades, fund transfers, and updates to member profiles.
- Manages account administration for registered/non-registered products ensuring accuracy in documentation and compliance.
- Serves as the primary contact for Group RRSP administrators.
- Oversees the management of the Concentra RESP program.
- Maintains files, records and documentation as required by regulatory authorities. Assists in the distribution, maintenance, verification, completion, follow up and filing of financial planning records and reports.
- In the absence of the Mutual Fund Investment Specialist, is the primary point of contact for members within that portfolio segment.
What skills and attributes does a Mutual Funds Investment Specialist need to have?

- Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of applicable credit union policies, products, and government legislation, pertaining to tax-deferred plans, investments, and mutual funds.

- Self managed with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to escalate and seek direction for workload constraints in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required; Finance Diploma preferred.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a financial institution or investment firm or an equivalent combination of experience/education. Experience with life insurance is considered an asset.
- Successful completion of Investment Funds in Canada designation or willingness to complete.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Functional knowledge of Maximizer / Salesforce CRM and industry specific programs such as DataPhile are considered assets.
The Compensation:
A competitive salary range of $48,000.00 to $60,000.00 per annum along with benefits package, deposit and loan programs are all reasons to consider Christian Credit Union for your career.
