Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Pizza Cook, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Duties
- Prepare delicious pizzas and other menu items following established recipes and food safety guidelines
- Operate Micros POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process customer orders and payments
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, giving correct change and managing cash register operations
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food handling regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely food preparation and service
- Assist with inventory management by restocking ingredients and supplies as needed
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for accurate transactions
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures in a restaurant environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience or food industry knowledge is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
