Progistix’s operations are located in major cities across the country, giving our clients efficient and effective access to the Canadian marketplace. We operate out of various provinces such as ON, MB, QC, NS and NFLD, with our Toronto facility being the largest.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maximize productivity by effectively allocating available resources to successfully process the daily work volume Perform various system data management tasks, including snag processing.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve process and system failures
- Manage labour requirements to support all business needs
- Ensuring the unionized hourly team achieves its daily CSS’s and KPI’s
- Update various weekly and daily data reports
- Assist and communicate with Client Contact Center and Internal Departments to ensure that orders and communications are resolved
- Safety focused with a demonstrated focus on Health & Safety practices, policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance of Progistix’s Quality Principles and Account specific Standard Operating Procedures
- Coordinate cross functional system testing for amendments and/ or upgrades to operational systems
- Provide support and continuous improvements for internal and external clients through effective communication, promotion of safety practices and policies while focusing on customer satisfaction and business retention.
- Use of SAP, ESS and other related systems and SAP WM support for new business and special projects

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Minimum of 3 years previous experience in a fast paced, logistics environment
- Thorough knowledge and experience with third party logistics services and processes
- Post-Secondary education and/or a combination of relevant experience and education
- Recent and relevant SAP Warehouse Management support experience and report generation experience using SAP/BW in a distribution environment
- System expert i.e., pick strategies, warehouse layout, productivity measurements, facilities and process management
- Demonstrated experience with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment
- Proficiency using Microsoft office applications
- Successful management experience in a unionized work environment
- Demonstrated management and leadership capabilities
