The Opportunity:
The Windermere Turf Care Department is currently looking for individuals interested in joining the Turf Team for the 2026 golf season. We are seeking friendly, reliable, and outgoing individuals to join our team! The Club:
The Windermere Golf and Country Club is an equity-based private club in Edmonton, Alberta, and exists for the exclusive use of its shareholders, associate members, their family and invited guests. Windermere’s vision is to be “The Golfer’s Private Club of Choice” and is considered by many to be one of the finest golf clubs in Western Canada. The course has seen a complete renovation and is consistently ranked within the top 100 courses in Canada by Score Golf, most recently 58th in 2022. The addition of a beautiful new clubhouse in 2011 has allowed the club to elevate its offerings to members and guests. Windermere is committed to providing the membership with exceptional golfing and social experience.
Daily Tasks - As a member of the Turf Team, daily tasks can include, but are not limited to:
- raking and regular maintenance of bunkers
- mowing of greens, tees, approaches, fairways, and rough areas
- small equipment operation (push mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, etc)
- daily course set up
- course clean up (leaf and branch removal etc)
- water and fertilizing and
- general hand work such as raking, shoveling, sweeping, sodding, etc.

Hours of Work: This position is considered full-time seasonal. The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday and every second weekend. Looking for candidates who are available for full time work until the beginning of November.
Compensation Package:
- $17.00 per hour (wage can vary based on experience),
- Uniform included, but CSA approved safety toed footwear will be at candidate expense,

- Golf and practice facility privileges (some restrictions apply).
