Senior Identity Access Management (IAM) Consultant – Oracle Identity Manager (OIM)
Location: Toronto, ON (On-site, 5 days/week)
Contract: 100 business days (approximately August 2026 – December 2026) with possible extension
Rate: Up to $110/hour (Incorporated Consultant)
About the Opportunity
Scientia Digital is recruiting a Senior Identity Access Management (IAM) Consultant for a provincial government client in Toronto.
This is a hands-on Java development role for an experienced Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) specialist who has worked on large-scale enterprise identity and certificate management solutions. Candidates without recent Oracle Identity Manager development experience are unlikely to be considered.
What You'll Do
- Develop and enhance Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) solutions supporting enterprise identity and certificate management.
- Design, develop, and deploy custom OIM workflows, schedulers, adapters, plugins, UI components, and connectors.
- Develop solutions to resolve existing PKI and identity management issues.
- Support migration initiatives involving enterprise identity services.
- Ensure identity management solutions comply with established security standards and governance requirements.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Develop scripts, reports, queries, and automation to support ongoing operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and infrastructure issues.
- Produce technical documentation and operational support procedures.
- Collaborate with technical teams throughout implementation and release activities.
Required QualificationsYou must have:
- 3+ years of hands-on Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) development experience
- 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience
- Experience developing and customizing:
- OIM workflows
- OIM APIs
- OIM schedulers
- OIM adapters
- OIM plugins
- Custom OIM UI components
- Custom OIM connectors
Strong experience with:
- Oracle Identity and Access Management Suite
- Java (OpenJDK 8/11)
- Spring Boot
- Angular (versions 12 and/or 14)
- OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC)
- Azure
- Microservices architecture
- Oracle Database 19c
- Linux and Windows environments
- Oracle WebLogic
- Apache Tomcat
- Oracle HTTP Server (OHS), IIS, or IBM HTTP Server
Nice to Have
Experience with:
- Enterprise PKI environments
- Identity and certificate management systems
- Large-scale enterprise applications supporting 10,000+ users
- ITIL processes
- Change and Release Management
- Performance testing tools such as LoadRunner
- Automated testing frameworks

Work Arrangement
