Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining the high standards of our restaurant. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the food industry. Must be smart serve certified.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly while providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to guests while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills, ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely food preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations, adhering to sanitation guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing training related to food safety and guest services to enhance personal performance and restaurant standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, showcasing familiarity with the food industry.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Experience with POS systems, is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Pay: $17.60 per hour
