About The Role – 38732 - Yardperson (Red Chris, BC, Canada) - 14x14 rotation
We are currently seeking a Yardperson to join our team supporting operations at Red Chris Mine in British Columbia.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and being part of a high-performing team. In this role, you'll receive training and exposure to both plant operations and bulk product delivery, creating a pathway to broaden your skills and build a long-term career with Orica.
Working alongside experienced team members, you'll play a key role in supporting safe and efficient operations while learning multiple aspects of our business.
Schedule
14 days on / 14 days off rotation
12-hour day shifts
Excellent work-life balance with extended time off between rotations
What you will be doing
Support day-to-day plant operations and bulk product delivery activities
Assist with yard organization, equipment preparation, and operational tasks
Operate trucks and mobile equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, and environmental stewardship
Work closely with team members to support site production goals
Participate in training and development opportunities across multiple operational areas
Contribute to a positive team culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement

Qualifications
Valid Class 3 Driver's Licence (Class 1 preferred)
Experience in mining, construction, industrial, or similar environments
Experience operating trucks and mobile equipment
Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Ability to manage daily tasks and priorities in a fast-paced operational setting

Compensation Range
If you have direct MMU and industry experience, the pay rate may be reviewed.
(Salary to be determined by the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
