Must Have:

8–10+ years of demonstrated experience managing complex IT projects, preferably in infrastructure and operations environments

Responsibilities:
-
Lead and manage the delivery of complex IT infrastructure and operational projects, overseeing full project lifecycle activities including scope, schedule, cost, and risk management.

Coordinate release planning and patching activities, ensuring alignment with operational priorities and minimal service disruption.

Engage and communicate with stakeholders, including ministry partners, executive leadership, and technical teams, to ensure clear direction, alignment, and timely decision-making.

Support IT operations by coordinating incident response, managing service tickets, and facilitating change management processes, including CRQs.

Drive infrastructure initiatives and manage ITS engagement to ensure compliance with standards, processes, and governance requirements.

Identify, assess, and mitigate project and operational risks, providing recommendations to support informed decision-making.

Prepare and maintain project documentation and reporting, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and transparency across teams.
Experience Requirements:

Minimum 8–10 years of IT project management experience, preferably in infrastructure or operations environments

Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects and operational priorities

Experience with release management, patching cycles, and change management processes (e.g., CRQs)

Experience supporting incident management and service operations

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including working with senior leadership

Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and risks

Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills
Desirable Skills:

Experience in public sector or large enterprise environments

Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident, change, problem management)

Experience with infrastructure delivery (cloud, on-prem, or hybrid)

Knowledge of enterprise governance and ITS engagement processes
Knowledge Transfer Requirements:
Knowledge transfer will occur throughout the engagement via regular meetings, documentation, and working sessions. All project artefacts must be documented and transferred to ensure continuity and sustainability of operations.
