Flowerstone Family Health Clinic is a Nurse Practitioner led family medical clinic in Qualicum Beach, BC. We are a full-service, fast-paced family practice currently with 9 Nurse Practitioners focused on attaching new patients in the Oceanside area.
We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic Medical Office Assistants to join our fast paced clinic, which will be growing and expanding to include more providers and allied health staff in the upcoming years.
MOA certificate program plus;
Medical office experience is an asset; preferably experience in a family practice clinic,
Intermediate Proficiency with computers and Electronic Medical Records; MedAccess EMR experience is an asset,
Good communication skills,
Physical ability to perform the tasks assigned
- Skills (including, but not limited to):
Assist patients with initial paperwork, and forms etc. needed for various reasons
Answering phones, faxing, scanning, copying etc.
Scheduling of appointments and other issues
Accurately updating and maintaining health records
Communicating test results to patients when directed
Great organizational and multitasking skills
Pay: From $23.50 per hour
