Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and organized Program Supervisor to support the coordination,consistency, and day-to-day operation of Judahcare residential and community-based programs.
The Program Supervisor plays a key role in supporting staff, overseeing program implementation, reinforcing house standards and expectations, and ensuring continuity of care and communication across shifts. This position focuses on operational coordination, staff support, program development, documentation oversight, and service delivery consistency within assigned programs.
You will work across a variety of settings, including:
- Residential programs
- Community-based programs
- Client homes and community settings
- Developmental, mental health, and child welfare environments

Key Responsibilities
Operational & Administrative Coordination
- Support scheduling coordination, staffing communications, and calendar updates.
- Assist with coordination of appointments, visits, and program-related activities.
- Support immediate shift coverage needs and operational problem-solving.
- Manage and track petty cash and receipt reconciliation.
- Review and support completion of daily documentation, logs, and reporting requirements.
Program Delivery & House Oversight
- Support the implementation and oversight of programming initiatives.
- Reinforce program expectations, routines, cleanliness standards, and quality-of-care practices.
- Assist with onboarding, orientation, and training of staff.
- Organize program resources, materials, and documentation systems.
- Coordinate fire drills and support overall program readiness.
Communication & Stakeholder Coordination
- Support communication with Child and Family Workers, caregivers, service providers, and other stakeholders.
- Act as a point of contact for day-to-day program coordination.
- Promote effective communication and continuity across shifts.
- Escalate significant concerns to leadership as required.
Planning & Service Coordination
- Participate in Plan of Care (POC) meetings and service planning discussions where applicable.
- Support implementation of established care plans and programming objectives.
- Monitor program routines and identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience
- College Diploma or University Degree in Child and Youth Care, Child and Youth Worker, Social Service Worker, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, Behavioural Science, Developmental Services, Community and Justice Services, Human Services, Mental Health and Addictions, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with children, youth, or adults with complex behavioral, developmental, mental health, or social needs.
- Previous experience in residential care, child welfare, developmental services, community services, or program coordination is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience supporting staff, coordinating activities, and maintaining operational processes within a team environment.
Transportation & Licensing Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Access to a reliable vehicle.
- Proof of automobile insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 liability coverage.
- Ability to transport youth-in-care and attend meetings, appointments, and community activities as required.
Certifications (Preferred/Required)
- Vulnerable Sector Police Background Check (issued within the last six months).
- Standard First Aid and CPR certification.
- Ministry-approved Crisis Intervention training (UMAB, CPI, TCI, or SAFE Management).
