Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Tinter to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle window tinting, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction. This role involves applying high-quality tint films to vehicles, ensuring a precise fit, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The Window Tinter will work closely with other automotive technicians to deliver exceptional service and enhance the aesthetic and functional aspects of our clients' vehicles.
Duties
- Apply window tint films to various vehicle windows using specialized tools and techniques
- Measure and cut tint films accurately to ensure perfect fitment on different vehicle models
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning and removing existing window treatments or debris
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely to install tint films without damaging vehicle surfaces
- Inspect finished work for quality, ensuring no bubbles, creases, or imperfections are present
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding their tinting needs and provide professional advice when needed
- Assist with other automotive cosmetic or repair tasks as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in dealership window tinting or automotive film application is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair processes are advantageous
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely as part of the installation process
- Strong attention to detail to ensure flawless application of tint films
- Knowledge of vehicle types and different window shapes for accurate measurement and fitting
- Experience with automotive repair or mechanic work is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude toward customer service
