We are currently seeking a highly organized, trustworthy, and customer-focused Area Manager to join our team in Kenora, Ontario. In this role, you will oversee daily operations across multiple client sites, ensuring contractual obligations are met, customer expectations are exceeded, and Bee-Clean’s high standards of service are consistently maintained.
- Location: Kenora, Ontario and surrounding area
- Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
- Salary: $60,000–$65,000 per year
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekend availability may be required
- Conduct electronic quality assurance inspections to ensure compliance with contract specifications and company standards
- Supervise and coordinate janitorial staff across multiple client locations
- Assign cleaning duties according to contractual scope of work requirements
- Recommend personnel actions, including hiring and terminations, to maintain appropriate staffing levels
- Collaborate with employees to resolve operational and personnel issues
- Review and approve employee shifts through the payroll system
- Order supplies while maintaining budget targets
- Coordinate billing for additional services and supplies with Operations and Accounts Receivable
- Interview, hire, onboard, and train new employees
- Conduct monthly health and safety training sessions
- Attend and participate in monthly health and safety meetings
- Investigate and address workplace incidents, disciplinary matters, and safety concerns
- Build and maintain positive client relationships by providing exceptional customer service
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and the regional office
- Coordinate work order requests to ensure timely completion
- Maintain confidentiality and protect company information
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and relationship management abilities
- Ability to effectively manage multiple sites and competing priorities
- Previous supervisory experience in a service-based environment is preferred
- Proficiency with computers and payroll/timekeeping systems
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the assigned region
- Must successfully pass required federal background checks
- French language skills are considered an asset but are not required
