We are seeking a motivated and dependable DZ Delivery Driver to join our dynamic TEAM AT APEX MOTOR EXPRESS MORING SHIFT MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8 HOURS PER WEEK logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight and heavy equipment to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. Your expertise in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair will be vital in supporting our operational excellence. Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles with a DZ license to deliver freight and heavy equipment across designated routes
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and securement of goods
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery documentation, and freight records for each trip
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep vehicles in optimal condition
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe transportation at all times

Experience
- Valid DZ driver’s license with a clean driving record and proven experience in commercial driving
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or similar machinery
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations related to transportation and logistics
- Basic automotive repair skills, including troubleshooting minor mechanical issues
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads, climbing ladders, or working in varied weather conditions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain professionalism on the road
- MUST HAVE 3 YEARS DZ DRIVEING EXPRIENCE
