Poplar Ridge Custom Cabinets is a millwork shop in Barrhead, AB, specializing in custom cabinetry. We are a solid team known for our passion, integrity, and commitment to excellence. We are seeking a motivated cabinet finisher who is inspired to work hard and contribute to our production team. The ideal candidate would be responsible for applying primers, finishes, glazes, stains, and protective coatings to our products, ensuring a premium finish, consistency, and attention to detail. This candidate will also be responsible for equipment maintenance and scheduling within the finishing department. Our finishers play a vital part in delivering finished products that meet our client’s expectations and quality standards. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects in an environment dedicated to quality and excellence. Experience in the cabinet industry is preferred but not required. Experience with surface preparation and spraying in a booth is an asset.

Responsibilities
- Utilize hand and power tools to finish cabinetry with precision.
- Read and interpret renderings and spec sheets to ensure accurate finishes.
- Collaborate with team members to discuss project specifications and timelines.
- Perform restoration and repair work as needed, maintaining high-quality craftsmanship.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while handling materials and equipment.
