Overview
We are seeking experienced siding installers and laborers to join our construction team. This role involves installing high-quality siding on residential and commercial buildings, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, carpentry, and siding installation, with a focus on safety, precision, and efficiency. Duties
- Install various types of siding materials according to project specifications and blueprints
- Prepare work areas by measuring, cutting, and fitting siding panels accurately
- Use hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, and levels to complete installations
- Perform heavy lifting of siding materials and related supplies safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure correct installation
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure weatherproofing and finish quality
- Assist with other construction tasks including framing, trimming, and general handyman duties as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in siding installation or related construction roles
- Proficiency with hand tools and construction equipment
- Strong carpentry skills and knowledge of blueprint reading
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds or more)
- Experience with caulking, sealing, and weatherproofing techniques
- Construction or handyman experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
- Good physical stamina with the ability to stand, climb ladders, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license preferred but not mandatory depending on project location and transportation needs
Pay: $18.00-$35.00 per hour
