As Mobile Maintenance Superintendent, you will provide leadership to ensure the safe, reliable, and cost-effective performance of Red Chris Mine's mobile fleet. You will play a key role in maximizing equipment availability, driving continuous improvement, managing risk, and supporting the mine's operational success as it progresses toward a future underground block cave operation.

Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE standards, regulations, and site requirements.

Lead and develop a team of supervisors, tradespeople, technicians, and contractors.

Oversee preventive, predictive, planned, and corrective maintenance programs for mobile assets.

Deliver fleet reliability and availability targets while optimizing maintenance costs.

Partner with Operations, Planning, Reliability, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to improve asset performance.

Manage departmental operating and capital budgets and conduct regular financial reviews.

Lead incident investigations, risk assessments, and critical control verification activities.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support effective change management.

Foster an inclusive, high-performing team environment through coaching, mentoring, and performance development.

Minimum 10 years of mobile equipment maintenance experience within the mining industry.

At least 5 years of leadership experience managing maintenance teams.

Heavy Duty Mechanic trade qualification and/or a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Strong technical knowledge of large mining fleets, including CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu, P&H, and light vehicle equipment.

Expertise in maintenance planning, scheduling, reliability practices, and asset management principles.

Experience using CMMS platforms such as SAP, Oracle, JDE, Pronto, or similar systems.

Proven commitment to safety leadership, risk management, and incident investigation processes.

Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop diverse teams.

Strong problem-solving, financial management, and continuous improvement capabilities.

The expected salary range for this role is CA$148,900 - 198,500 . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
