Job Description:
J&L Cold Storage is currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team in Chepstow. This role is essential to our daily operations, ensuring the efficient loading and unloading of trucks in a fast-paced cold storage environment.
Key responsibilities:
Safley operate a forklift to load and offload trucks
Move, stack and organize products within the facility
Inspect incoming and outgoing products for accuracy and damage
Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies
Requirements:
Previous forklift experience (and willingness to obtain forklift certificate)
Ability to work in cold temperatures
Strong attention to details
Physically capable of lifting product when required and able to pull large plastic dividers
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
