Duties
- Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely and efficiently to perform concrete finishing, framing, siding installation, and other tasks
- Utilize hand tools and woodworking skills to assemble structures, form concrete molds, and perform carpentry work
- Read and understand schematics for electrical, plumbing, or structural components as needed for project accuracy
- Conduct concrete forming and finishing to achieve smooth surfaces and durable structures
- Assist with restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged materials with precision
- Perform heavy lifting safely to move materials, equipment, or structural components into place
- Use welding techniques when necessary for structural reinforcement or custom fabrications
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Operate heavy machinery such as cranes or forklifts in compliance with safety protocols
Skills
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Proven experience in concrete forming, finishing, and carpentry techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment
- Knowledge of siding installation and restoration procedures
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Familiarity with welding processes for structural repairs or modifications
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and sustained manual labor
- Construction experience across various trades including framing, drywall, or roofing is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive safety mindset
Pay: $45.00-$65.00 per hour
