PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Reporting to the appropriate site supervisor, the Dry Concrete Finisherwill be responsible to ensure Aecon Civil Construction Corp. achieves their general and specific project requirements, on the Deerfoot Trail Improvements Project.

What You'll Do Here:

Pour and place concrete on bridge deck
Dry finishing concrete, Class 1-3
Grinding, patching, sacking concrete
Stripping formwork
Grouting and chipping
Assist Carpenters as needed
Continuously changing work tasks

What You Bring to the Team:

5-10 years of experience with dry concrete finishing
Ability to work 6 days a week, day and night shift as needed
10+ hours work days, overtime required as needed
Physical strength and stamina
Manual dexterity
A safety-conscious attitude
The ability to work with others in a team
Repetitive movement
Able to perform in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work a significant number of hours throughout the day
Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 50lbs
Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments
