Your days will include:

Processing bi-weekly payroll and off-cycle payrolls accurately and on time.
Issuing final payments and Records of Employment (ROEs).
Managing employee advances and responding to inquiries from employees, managers and external stakeholders.
Updating and maintaining employee information in HRIS systems.
Assisting with year-end tasks, including issuing T4s.
Handling garnishments, collections and Service Canada inquiries.
Preparing Payroll Remittances.

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

Willingness to obtain certificate in Payroll.
Prior payroll processing experience is preferred.
Knowledge of labor laws, CRA rules and general payroll best practices.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling confidential information.
Proficient in Excel and Word.
Excellent communication skills.
Completion of Grade 12 and payroll courses or programs is an asset.
