Travaillant en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe d’ingénierie et relevant du PDG, l'ingénieur mécanique participera activement aux projets conception d'équipements pour l’industrie naval.

L’ingénieur mécanique aura comme principaux mandats de fournirez une expertise technique et spécialisée afin de concevoir et élaborer des solutions et composants dans le cadre de projet de conception de solutions naval.

Vos défis :

Concevoir et sélectionner des composants et des équipements spécialisés de chauffage ou de ventilation nécessaires aux applications maritimes militaires et commerciales.
Effectue des calculs des caractéristiques de performance de l'équipement, de sa résistance structurelle, de son centre de gravité et d'autres exigences dictées par le client.
Travailler avec les concepteurs mécaniques pour développer des modèles 3D, des dessins clients, des dessins de production, des nomenclatures pour l'approvisionnement et des P&ID d'équipement.
Gérer les projets de A-Z (élaboration du cahier de charge jusqu’à la mise en production).
Planifier et diriger les projets de conception, incluant les estimations de coûts, les devis, les rapports et les documents contractuels.
Effectuer des recherches techniques et négocier avec les fournisseurs, afin de définir les spécifications et valider la faisabilité des composants.
Mener ou participer à des activités d'inspection de l'approvisionnement et de l'assurance de la qualité.
Assurer le suivi de la fabrication.
Coordonner directement avec les clients et/ou soutenir les gestionnaires d'installation pendant la phase d'installation Définir et exécuter les tests de validations.
Participer à la résolution de problèmes en proposant des solutions techniques et économiquement viables.
Collaborer à la rédaction et mise à jour des manuels et spécifications techniques.

Profil recherché :

Baccalauréat en génie mécanique.
4 à 7 ans d'expérience.
Expérience en conception de systèmes et/ou d'équipements CVC.
Excellentes compétences en conception 2D et 3D.
Familier avec AutoCAD et Inventor (ou SolidWorks).
Expérience dans la conception de systèmes de réfrigération et/ou d'équipements serait un atout.
Capacité à réussir dans un environnement entrepreneurial.

Working closely with the engineering team and reporting to the CEO, the Mechanical Engineer will actively participate in equipment design projects for the naval industry.

The Mechanical Engineer's main mandates will be to provide technical and specialized expertise in order to design and develop solutions and components as part of naval solution design projects.

The Role:

Design and select specialized heating or ventilation components and equipment needed for military and commercial marine applications.
Performs calculations of equipment performance characteristics, structural strength, center of gravity, and other customer-driven requirements.
Work with mechanical designers to develop 3D models, customer drawings, production drawings, bills of materials for procurement, and equipment P&IDs.
Manage projects from A-Z (development of specifications to production).
Plan and direct design projects, including cost estimates, specifications, reports and contract documents.
Conduct technical research and negotiate with suppliers, in order to define specifications and validate the feasibility of components.
Conduct or participate in procurement and quality assurance inspection activities.
Ensure the follow-up of the production.
Coordinate directly with customers and/or support facility managers during the installation phase Define and execute validation tests.
Participate in problem solving by proposing technical and economically viable solutions.
Collaborate in the drafting and updating of manuals and technical specifications.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
4 to 7 years of experience.
Experience in HVAC system and/or equipment design.
Excellent 2D and 3D design skills.
Familiar with AutoCAD and Inventor (or SolidWorks).
Experience in the design of refrigeration systems and/or equipment would be an asset.
Ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment.
